Planning a Research Protocol

A well-organized protocol schedule helps ensure consistency and proper timing across multiple peptides. Many research protocols involve combining two or more peptides with different dosing frequencies, making a visual calendar essential for tracking daily administration.

When planning a multi-peptide protocol, consider the timing of each injection. Some peptides are best administered on an empty stomach in the morning, while others may be taken before bed. Spacing injections appropriately throughout the day can help maintain consistent peptide levels and reduce injection site irritation from multiple simultaneous injections.

The supply calculator helps estimate total vial and bacteriostatic water requirements for the full protocol duration. This allows you to plan purchases in advance and avoid interruptions mid-protocol. Keep in mind that reconstituted peptides typically have a limited shelf life of 4 weeks when refrigerated, so factor vial usage timing into your planning.

Understanding Dosing Frequencies

  • Daily: Once every day, typically at the same time
  • Twice daily: Morning and evening, roughly 12 hours apart
  • Every other day: Alternating days (e.g., Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun)
  • 3x per week: Typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Twice weekly: Two fixed days per week (e.g., Monday and Thursday)
  • Weekly: Once per week on the same day

The frequency you select should match the peptide's half-life and the research protocol you are following. Shorter half-life peptides generally require more frequent administration to maintain stable levels.
