🧬Peptide Protocol Wiki

Editorial Policy

Transparency about how our content is produced, verified, and maintained.

Research Methodology

Every article on Peptide Protocol Wiki is built on peer-reviewed scientific literature through a systematic research pipeline:

  • Primary sources: The pipeline queries PubMed and other scientific databases for original research papers, clinical trial data, and peer-reviewed publications. PubMed IDs and DOIs are provided for all referenced studies.
  • Evidence hierarchy: We distinguish between preclinical (animal/in-vitro), Phase I-III clinical trials, and FDA-approved indications. Each peptide profile clearly labels its evidence level.
  • Citation verification: All PubMed IDs and DOIs are verified against their source publications to confirm they exist and match the claims made.
  • No promotional claims: The pipeline does not make therapeutic claims beyond what the cited evidence supports. Content is informational and educational, not medical advice.

Content Pipeline

Content goes through a multi-step automated pipeline before publication:

  1. Automated research: The PaperQA/Edison pipeline submits targeted queries to PubMed, retrieves relevant papers, and extracts key findings.
  2. Content assembly: Structured articles are assembled from the retrieved research, organizing information into standardized sections (overview, dosing, research, side effects, risks, molecular data, and similar peptides).
  3. Citation verification: PubMed IDs and DOIs are checked against source databases to confirm validity.
  4. Schema validation: All content is validated against strict data schemas before publication to ensure structural consistency.

Correction Policy

We take accuracy seriously. When errors are identified:

  • Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are fixed immediately and the "last updated" date is refreshed.
  • Factual corrections (incorrect data, citations, dosing information) are corrected promptly and the content is re-verified through the automated pipeline.
  • Report an error: If you find inaccurate information, contact us at contact@peptideprotocolwiki.com.

Content Categories

We publish several distinct types of content:

  • Peptide profiles: Comprehensive, multi-article profiles covering overview, molecular structure, dosing protocols, research studies, side effects, risks, and similar peptides.
  • Research reviews: Summaries and analysis of published clinical research and preclinical studies.
  • Comparison articles: Head-to-head analyses of similar peptides based on published data.
  • Community evidence: Aggregated community reports are clearly labeled as anecdotal and never mixed with clinical evidence levels.

Limitations

As an automated research resource, this site has inherent limitations:

  • No clinical judgment: Automated pipelines cannot exercise the clinical judgment that a qualified healthcare professional provides. This content should never replace medical consultation.
  • Citation accuracy: While citations are verified against PubMed, interpretation of study findings may occasionally be imprecise or lack nuance.
  • Currency: Content reflects the state of research at the time of generation and may not include the very latest publications.

Independence & Conflicts of Interest

Peptide Protocol Wiki maintains editorial independence. Content is not influenced by vendors, manufacturers, or advertisers. Vendor directory listings are informational and based on objective scoring criteria that are publicly documented.

Funding & Business Model

Peptide Protocol Wiki is an independently operated educational resource. We believe in transparency about how this site is funded and maintained.

  • Vendor Directory Listings: Vendors listed in our directory are included based on editorial criteria, not payment. Vendor scoring is determined by our standardized 8-dimension methodology.
  • No Pharmaceutical Sponsorship: We do not accept funding from pharmaceutical companies or peptide manufacturers.
